Kids driving you nuts? Cold war on with your spouse?  Neck hurt?  Does the daily “To Do” list always seem to have too much left unchecked?  There just may be a very simple way to remedy all of that……to decrease frustration, open up more compassion, improve posture and become more focused.  Changing your day can be as simple as getting it started on the right note, and that means adding a 5 minute routine, Quick Fix Yoga Excellent Morning!,  to the very top of your “To Do” list. 

If you are thinking you don’t have 5 minutes to spare in the morning, reckon again.  75% of all illness is stress-related, and chronic stress is what builds up when we don’t slow down and pay attention to the needs of our mindbody from the time we get up, until the time we fall into bed.

In addition to the obvious, de stress-related, health benefits of taking a few minutes out of the rush of our lives, there are deeper benefits for our mindbody.  Rushing through life, complaining or suppressing complaints, and allowing them to come back as resentment, rage or criticism, is simply not a pleasant way to live, nor does it normally result in a really fantastic personality.  Even if you are sweet as pie, despite a lack of time for self care, chances are “something’s gonna give”, if you keep on without paying attention to how you are really doing

Yoga is a lifestyle of awareness.  Yoga is about union.  The union of mind, body and spirit within a person, and the unity or oneness of a person with the Whole of existence.  Life offers us opportunities to evolve, and our attitude determines whether our evolution is joyful or painful.  Do you approach the day with an attitude of open minded, open hearted gratitude?  Or do wonder, “Why me?” 

Yoga practice doesn’t have to be hard, practiced on a mat, or sustained for any fantastic length of time.  What it should be is practiced everyday.  What is most vital in your Yoga practice is consistency.  To be consistent, day after day, for the vast majority of us in America today, means that our practice probably needs to be relatively simple, somewhat fun, very quick and deeply beneficial. That is what Quick Fix Yoga(QFY) techniques are.  You will like the energizing breath, posture enhancing stretch and attitude improving start to your day, that Quick Fix Yoga Excellent Morning offers.
