They’re 5 and 3. They outgrew the “princess” and “race car” tables. I researched for about 3 months…wanted something that would last for years and look tasteful with the rest of the stuff in their playroom. It fits the bill! High quality (matches right up with the Pottery Barn Kids stuff), and it’s EXACTLY what I wanted and hoped it would be. No regrets. It’s nice to know that some companies (Lipper, Inc) still make things to exacting standards….

Plus, the Amazon service is second to none. The first box had a broken chair leg. They send me another box by overnight mail as soon as I went online and had me print a return tag from the internet– the new package and return for the hurt one cost me nothing. I LOOOVE LIPPER and AMAZON!!!

This is a solid, well built piece of furniture. The quality is fantastic and it looks like it will last a long while. A trick to getting the screws in simpler is to rub a small soap on the threads before you place them in the screw holes.

I bought this table and chairs for my 17 month ancient. She likes it. While her feet do not touch the floor yet, that does not stop her from getting up and down from the chairs. The chairs are sturdy enough for either my husband or myself to sit in and the table is high enough that my knees just fit under it. We are so pleased with the one we bought we are buying her another one to take to my office playroom. The only problem I had with assembly was that some screws we hard to get all the way in.

I bought this table a couple months ago for my son for Christmas. I opened it straight away to make sure I had all the parts to assemble and found that I did. I place it away until just yesterday when I got it out to place it together. Maybe it was just the terrible egg of the bunch, but the holes that were pre-drilled were too huge and the screws could not be tightened. Every other piece of the table is made of wood except for the supports, which are made of poor quality material. Now it is only a few weeks before Christmas and we don’t have a table to give our son. In addition to the fact it was a poor choice of Lipper International to use the material the chose to construct their supports, it is a liability. This table is intended to be used by children and when the supports can’t hold the screws to keep the legs attached it is an accident waiting to happen.

Just wanted to follow up with my review. I called Lipper International about my problem and without hesitation they are sending me a new table top! I am so pleased about that, because it is a Christmas present for my son. Hopefully the new table top will be as excellent as the chairs were. Thank you Lipper for a no problem solve!

This table and chair set is extremely sturdy and I like the cubby holes underneath. I only wish they were a small deeper in height, it is perfect for paper and the regular box of crayons (we have a crayon tin that is a small too high to fit underneath) but other than that I like it. The color is fantastic and blends well with our kitchen – I did not want the “day care” look in my house with the bright primary colored tables that I have also seen on the market. This table and chair will be able to grow with my son and his friends.
