These days women’s dress shoes are an essential style accessory for the modern wardrobe. Worn for special occasions and formal events, dress shoes are the high-heeled glamorous cousins of the casual athletic and work shoe. As the sparkling accessory to the small black party dress or the elegant ball gown, a dress shoe is not unlike a diamond; it is also the well-dressed girl’s best friend.

So, finding women’s dress shoes may seem like an simple prospect with a shoe store on every street corner. This is very nice thought to select the dress shoes for women that are not just look wonderful but they are also very comfortable. But, if you are aware of a few of the tricks fashion experts know then you too can come across drop-dead dazzling and elegant evening shoes that you may wear all the time at no cost to your feet. First of all you might be confused about what exactly the dress shoes are; one might reckon that the pair of shoes that make your feet look appealing and stylish, match your evening outfits and be comfy for walking or dancing.

Really, the majority women prefer wearing dress shoes just for the sake of beauty because many of the occasional or dress shoes are not that comfortable. Majority of the dress shoes or the party shoes are made in a way so that they look very nice and stylish in feet but no importance is given to the aspect of shoes comfort. Even sometimes this also happens that women find sore feet after the event.

There are certain points that should be kept in mind while selecting dress shoes for women. You might have observed that all of the dress shoes have high heels that make the legs of the wearer look longer and slimmer while the feet also give nice appearance and you can have excellent posture also. The long heels shoes give you stylish look but this is not necessary that you wear long heel shoes; you can also go for kitten heels which are about two inch high and are more comfortable than the four inch high heels. Beside kitten heels, the wedge heels also look very nice and should be preferred instead of long and high heels.

Also the wedge heels are comfortable as well as give very nice appearance to the wearer. There is no doubt, the heel is high but this is quite simple to walk with these heels and the most fascinating aspect of these heels is that they are still in fashion and majority of the dress shoes are made of fabric while leather shoes are also available and if you can afford leather shoes then you should go for leather shoes instead of fabric shoes because quality leather has an astounding capability to adjust according to the foot shape. Matching and comfortable dress shoes always give stylish and modish look to the wearer. And if you are unable to match exact color then go for complementary color.

The experience of guilt is an enormous burden. People really feel guilty for feeling guilty. Often, those in the religious community are prone to complain about guilt. They perceive God as the ‘cop in the sky’ who is looking to apply retribution. Adults who were the products of poor parenting are more susceptible to real guilt and viewing God is a tyrannical figure.

Unfortunately, people may doubt their salvation, feel like God has abandoned them and immerse themselves in obsessing over minor infractions.

It is my opinion that we need to kick out any God that would make us feel small. A loving God cherishes His children, forgives them and elevates them in His eyes. We are His kings and queens, and we need to stand tall in His presence.

Real guilt can be defined as missing the mark. We fall small of our convictions and need to make amends. We do this by accepting the forgiveness that is already our inheritance, forgiving ourselves for being less than perfect and reconciling with those we have hurt and disappointed.

An fascinating example of real guilt is when we fail to live up to our capacity. We may have been sitting on a goal or dream and place it off because we are too bone idle or worried to act on it. Addressing our right guilt makes us feel complete. We restore our integrity and bring healing to our significant relationships.

Those who have experienced negative parenting may find the concept of forgiveness perplexing. If one’s parents were punitive, critical and unloving, it makes it more hard for people to grasp the concept of a loving, forgiving God. Intellectually, they may know forgiveness, but emotionally they may remain immobilised with self-blame. God does not want His children to victim-posture. We can’t be ambassadors of the excellent news if we are stuck in a sinkhole. Accepting forgiveness is our right and responsibility. Some may need help in processing this truth – God is patient.

It is vital to differentiate real guilt from fake guilt. Much of the guilt we experience is fake. It has nothing to do with falling small of our convictions. I define fake guilt as allowing other people to have power over us. Due to inadequate parenting, many of us learn to give our power away.

As children, we become overly-compliant, passive-aggressive and we learn that it is in our best interest to thwart our rage. If we were raised in dysfunctional families, there was generally no dialogue or exploration of feelings at home. It is vital to know that what happened was never our fault.

When people tell me that they feel guilty, the problem usually involves fake guilt over core childhood issues such as feelings of abandonment, acting overly-responsible, childhood abuse, and lack of confidence. Fake guilt is really a form of disguised resentment. If others over-control our lives, we resent the intrusion, but find fake guilt simpler to accept than rage.

Roberta came to me and complained about her daughter. Whenever she would visit her, she would feel demeaned and manipulated. I suggested that Roberta set limits and cut back on her lengthy out-of-town visitations with her daughter. But, her daughter pleaded with Roberta to stay longer, and the fake guilt emerged.

Roberta chose to stay for the typical two-week visit and she felt miserable. In typical fashion, her daughter merely used her as a babysitter for her kids. Roberta was really mad, but it was masked as fake guilt. As a child, she was never allowed to express her rage appropriately. Roberta had no foundation for setting boundaries and sticking up for herself. She acquiesced to the needs of others and felt small.

Unresolved issues can affect our concept of God. If we fail to find balance in our life by resolving core childhood issues, they may rear their hideous head and affect our spiritual well-being. I believe that God wants us to be integrated. That means we don’t pretend by ignoring the dusty corners of our inner life. As author M Scott Peck once said, “I’m not okay, you’re not okay, but it’s okay!” We must learn to live authentically as imperfect human beings.

Real or fake guilt can immobilise us. As a child of God, there is no need to be saddled with guilt. Guilt keeps us mired in a cycle of self-defeating thinking and behaviour. To my knowledge, no one has ever changed by motivating themselves through guilt.

With right guilt, learning to forgive ourselves, making amends and accepting God’s grace brings healing that helps us go forward. Fake guilt, which comprises the majority of guilt, must prompt us to learn to become assertive, set appropriate boundaries, and find empowerment through the kind of righteous rage that is self-supportive.

Do you feel guilty about feeling guilty? The excellent news is that God wants to elevate you out of your guilt-induced self-defeating cycle of self-blame and help you to become whole.

Kids have to practice handwriting on special handwriting paper. Teaching them on a normal notebook paper will lead to confusion. On handwriting paper every letter or number is written within a character spacer line. Writing lines act as a guide – they help the child to write the letter with the right height, width and length. Another vital thing is the spacing between letters and spacing between words. The spacing has to be consistent through out. Initially they could space two words by measuring the space between words with their small finger. When a child gets comfortable with the sizing of the letters and spacing them correctly they can make the transition from the handwriting paper to a normal notebook paper.

Once we have the handwriting paper sorted the next thing to focus on is the right way to practice each alphabet. As an adult we sometimes tend to forget how hard writing alphabets can be for kids. We need to teach them to write each alphabet the right way. Excellent handwriting worksheets will have numbers and arrows on each alphabet. There are usually three numbers on each alphabet. ‘1? is where you start from – so the child starts at ‘1? and goes along the direction of the arrow. And then the child goes to ‘2? and moves along the direction of the arrow next to ‘2?. And then finally the child goes to ‘3? and moves along the direction of the arrow next to ‘3?

Next step is to practice, practice and practice. Make it a fun exercise. Don’t practice for too long every day. This will make children too tired and bored and as a result they might not look forward to the next handwriting practice session. Oversee your children’s work. How quickly they end the exercise is not vital. More vital is how well they are writing each alphabet. Sit with them when they are practicing. Your involvement will make it more fun for them.

A excellent pencil grip is extremely vital. If a child has incorrect pencil grip then right them. The pencil should be positioned so that there is equal pressure between the thumb, the side of the middle finger and the tip of the index finger.

If your child has problem with smudging with pencil then use a harder lead pencil (a higher number for your lead pencil).

If your child is left handed then small changes to paper position will help them to learn excellent handwriting skills. There are special products specifically designed for left handed children. You should consider using them and it will make the whole learning process much simpler.

Be patient with your children. Learning handwriting is not an simple task. It takes time, effort and a lot of practice. Encourage your children. Praise their achievements. In time they will master perfect handwriting.

And finally never ever compare one child’s handwriting with another. Every child will learn excellent handwriting skills in their own time. As long they are practicing the alphabets regularly and learning handwriting skills the right way they will all become masters in their own time.

What comes up for you when you hear the word “test”? I’ll never make it. I’m going to fail. I need to go to the nurse. These are typical responses we hear from students.

Over the years, young people develop certain attitudes about school. Their attitudes are made up not just of the actual experiences but also of everything they’ve thought about these experiences. Events they might have perceived as being unpleasant, like tests, get reinforced as negatives because they fall into the habit of thinking of them in negative terms.

The human brain listens to what it’s being told and forms itself accordingly. Every time we relive an unpleasant experience or reckon a negative thought, we’re strengthening the neural connections that lead to the “tests¨Care¨Cawful” conclusion. But what if a teen decides to replace that connection with a different one? One that says, “Tests are cool. I’m really into them. I like the challenge.”

When teens are exploring their attitudes about school, we tell them whenever somebody says the word “test” they can yell, “C’mon! Gimme that test!” It’s fun – and it also changes the way they reckon about tests. By transforming their attitudes from “oh no, not a test” to “bring it on!” they’re rewiring their brains to welcome academic challenges instead of fearing them. Instead of being the passive victims of tests, they own the whole testing experience!

One time a school superintendent was visiting one of our programs. She was talking to one of the facilitators and casually mentioned the word “test” in conversation. She jumped when a dozen campers standing nearby shouted in unison, “Gimme that test!”

The Ownership key is where we come from when we talk academics. It’s simple for young people to slip into a passive role: “The teacher teaches; I just sit here and absorb.” By the time they hit their teen years, a lot of kids have switched to autopilot in school. The stuff they’re learning is inert because they’re barely interacting with it.

But something exciting happens when people reclaim ownership of their education. They rediscover the fun and challenge of learning. They become the captains of their own experience instead of being benchwarmers. Now they can direct where their education goes – and how far.

Taking ownership of their education means no more excuses, never playing the blame game again: “She made me do it.” “He’s not a excellent teacher.” “My study partner’s not excellent at math.” “This school’s lame.” Ownership is about taking 100% responsibility for everything that we do and where we are in life. Period.

When young people take back the responsibility for their academic performance, their energy levels automatically go up. You can see pride of ownership in a person’s eyes and read it in their posture. Just taking ownership gets them more engaged, more enthusiastic, more awake and more alert.

Program grad David Evans told us how the Ownership key helped him revive a sagging GPA: “I really got how I could take command and harness my capabilities. The following school year I was sitting next to my friend in honors chemistry. We used to sit in class and we would spend most of the time cracking jokes and making fun of the teacher. I suddenly realized that my ancient behaviors wouldn’t fit into my new beliefs. I wanted to pay attention in class. I told my friend, and it really caught him off guard, but that didn’t stop me. From that moment on, there was no looking back for me.”

One of the signs campers read on our walls says, “I Am Responsible for What I Make.” Once they realize they’re in charge, they’re on their way to greatness. When they couple ownership with a can-do attitude and some nuts-and-bolts learning skills, they’re an unstoppable express train to success!

It is a fact that not all things are made equal; and this holds right to double strollers as well. Some are made sturdy, others are handy, and still others have more features than the rest.

If you are a first-time mom of twins, it is not a mortal sin to be meticulous, especially when selecting among the many double strollers available for your twins. But, it is a sound advice to keep your eyes into the details of the double stroller that you will buy.

Safety Features

To get your twin ready for your outdoor strolling, it is best to choose a double stroller with deep seats, terrain tires, locking brakes, larger wheels, and with a wrist strap as safety measures.

Adjustable Seats

It may occur that your twins will sleep more often when inside the double stroller. As a mom, you want them to feel comfortable, and so you have to check that the seats properly recline to a certain slight angle. At this early stage, you do not wish to ruin their posture because you chose a double stroller wherein the seats cannot be adjusted. Your twins should be properly seated so as to avoid their heads never droop while asleep.

Maneuverability

There is a better way of testing whether you feel comfortable operating the double strollers: push it for a few rounds. You cannot argue with your first-hand experience of handling the strollers yourself. There are basic features that you will have to see, like the position of the wheels and the handles. The height of the stroller’s handle should be enough for your height so that you will feel comfortable while pushing the strollers, making it simpler for you to turn in corners.

Transportable Seats

If it is possible, choose a double stroller with seats that are easily transported from the stroller to your car’s seats and back. This gives you the convenience of transferring your twins from the strollers to your car. This type of advancement in baby’s equipment is being incorporated in double strollers.

Simple Assembly and Storage

Since these are double strollers, you may have a foresight that you will be having difficulty in the assembly of the whole thing. You may be right; but, you have to learn how to assemble the double stroller on your own after carefully studying the manual and observing your spouse. You really need to do it in case there is no one around to do it for you and you need to go out of the house with your twins. As much as possible, choose the double stroller that’s simple to assemble so that it won’t take much of your time to do it. Also, you should keep the stroller as per instruction so as to prevent it from hurt. Place it in the area where you can easily spot and return it there so you will not take time to look for it when you need it already.

For additional information on other vital features you need to know about double strollers, click on Pure and Honest Kids. You can also order online the double stroller that you want to have for your twins. The site offers a excellent variety for you to choose from.

Face Down: If you face breathing difficulties while sleeping face down, then I suggest that you not do it as you will keep waking up.

Pets: No pets in your bed together with you. We like cats and dogs just as much as the next person, but it is a fact of life that animals carry the usual army of dust mites and shed their hair in copious amounts, all of which could be potentially harmful to you.

Make Up: For the ladies, I am sure most of you remove your make up prior to sleeping. Apart from avoiding dark circles around your eyes, as well as dermatitis. It is not worth it, even if you are dog tired.

Curling Up: Curling up while sleeping is not excellent for your back as this can result in back pain. Sleeping flat out on your back is the most ideal way. You can place a pillow under your knees to flex your lower back.

Airconditioning: Since you are in a deep sleep, a cold bedroom would naturally make you curl up in a terrible posture. Set a excellent temperature that you are comfortable with before you hit the sheets. You may even set the timer to turn off the airconditioning at a certain in the morning when the room temperature is at its coldest to moderate the temperature.

Flowers: For allergy sufferers, having flowers in your bedroom could potentially set off allergy attacks. Sunflowers are the most notorious.

Disinfectants: Avoid cleaning your room with chemical agents such as disinfectants just before you sleep, or at least give your room a excellent airing. You would not want to breathe in all those chemicals during your sleep.

Paints: Ditto for sleeping in a freshly painted room. Give your room some fresh ventilation for 2-3 days before you stated sleeping in it.

Sleeping Hours: Oversleeping is as terrible as insufficient sleep. You tend to feel lethargic should you oversleep, including afternoon naps. Personally I sleep between 7-8 hours, which means if I turn in early I also wake up early.

Unlike adults, children’s feet grow at an alarming rate. As parents it seems that we forever need to buy our kids new shoes.

But one of the main problems that you are likely to experience when you buy your child new shoes is not knowing their right shoe size. And this can be very hard.

A shoe that fits properly is extremely vital to children, especially young children. As they learn to walk properly having the incorrect shoe size can make complications with their growth and posture which they can carry into later life.

So again it is about getting them the right shoe size.

What follows is a rough guide to how to measure a child’s foot. It should make it a small simpler to know the right shoe size to buy next time you are shopping:

1) All too often people try to measure shoe size without taking into consideration the extra room needed in the shoe for socks. When you measure your child’s feet make sure that they wear the thickest socks they own or the ones they are most likely to wear.

2) Have your child stand up when taking the measurement. This way you can get a better thought of the length and width of the child’s feet – which is more hard to achieve with the child sitting down.

3) Make sure you keep your child’s feet flat. Children have the tendency to scrunch their feet and curl their toes so be aware of this.

4) Measure the foot from the heel to the huge toe. If you are doing this at home the best thing to do is to draw a line down the middle of a sheet of A4 paper. Then mark where the huge toe is and where the heel is. As the left and right foot vary slightly in length make sure you measure both feet and take the longer of the sizes.

5) Take the measurements in centimetres for European sizes and inches for US sizes. All stores in the UK will be able to tell you both measurements for a shoe size. But as a rule of thumb for boys UK shoe sizes are

Next, for the best deals on childrens shoes and kids shoes go to => http://www.wynsors.com/childrens-shoes-c-3.html now.

The process of becoming a mother involves a certain amount of psychological strain for a pregnant woman. In fact, for some women, childbirth can be as traumatic as life-threatening events such as a natural disaster or a war. During pregnancy, it is vital for the to-be mother’s family members and close ones to support her as required.

During childbirth, women are likely to experience a range of emotions, which may include:

•	Guilt

•	Anxiety and dread that can manifest as intense flashbacks and nightmares

•	Helplessness or a feeling of loss of control or feeling incomplete

•	Severe depression

•	Rage, irritability

•	Obsessive talking about their traumatic experiences

•	Ambivalent feelings toward the baby

•	Hyper-vigilance and hyper-sensitivity to any perceived injustice

•	Other symptoms such as drug and alcohol abuse, phobias, fainting spells, eating disorders, suicidal tendencies

•	It should be noted that such responses are natural reactions to a scary event, and are not signs of weakness. But, husbands can provide the necessary support to enable their spouses to cope with birth trauma.

During and before childbirth

• Medical care – Ensure that your spouse gets all the medical care she requires. Inform her about the available choices. Involve her in the choice-making process.

• Pain relief – Women experience intense physical and mental pain during childbirth. Use tried and tested techniques that aim to reduce this pain. For example, massages, baths, relaxation techniques may help.

• Emotional support – Often, women complain that people around them dismiss their problems. Sometimes, simply listening to your spouse may act as a solution. Remember that your spouse requires all the emotional support you can give her.

• Additional support – Counseling, antenatal classes, support organizations for birth trauma, etc. can really help.

After childbirth

• Providing care – After childbirth, adequate nutrition, exercise are necessary to ensure that your spouse is healthy.

• Sharing responsibility – Taking care of the newborn can be a hard and tiring task. For some women, the child can be a reminder of their traumatic experiences. Your spouse needs some time away from her baby. Ensure that you or responsible family members are available to take care of the baby for at least some time.

• Counseling – Contact a health professional immediately if your spouse develops symptoms of a traumatic birth.

The three men didn’t say a word. And yet their very presence in the diner spoke volumes.

THE TALE

It was the end of a long morning.

Despite my aching jaw, I managed to get the kids up, dressed and fed, as well as help my wheelchair bound mother get ready for the day.

We packed everyone and everything into the car and headed to the last follow up appointment after my wisdom teeth surgery.

The appointment went well, but I was tired and hungry–and slightly irritated that after several weeks I still could not chew food.

“I could probably manage an omelet,” I said to myself, so it being nearly lunchtime, we pulled into a diner around the corner from the doctor’s office.

The kids were unbuckled from their car seats and kept out of lunch hour traffic, the wheelchair was removed from the back of the car, opened up, and pieced together, and we carefully maneuvered up the ramp and through the doors, all the while gratefully acknowledging the strangers who recognized our need and helped by opening doors and clearing the way.

I stood in the lobby with my two kids, the wheelchair, my mother, and my aching jaw, probably looking as frazzled as I felt.

While we were waiting for our table, three men in suits walked into the restaurant, requested a table, and patiently waited with us in the lobby.

Whether they noticed us, I couldn’t say, but I certainly noticed them.

There was nothing outwardly remarkable about them. All three were different ages–two of them perhaps in their 40s or 50s, one of them perhaps in his 60s. They wore different kinds of suits–one of them light blue, one of them black, and one of them a rather hideous brown. They were different heights–one was quite small, one was quite tall, and one was somewhere in the middle. Their hair was different–in length, amount, and color. None of them was particularly handsome. By outward accounts they were quite normal.

And yet, they caught my attention.

In fact, they finished up sitting a few tables away from us, and all through lunch I glanced over at their table, watched them secretly, and strained to hear what they were talking about. Often I thought that if I had not had my family with me, I would have gone up to them and introduced myself.

So what was it about these men that drew me to them–that made me so intrigued with who they were, what they were doing, and what they were talking about?

It was because they had an aura of success.

You do not have to be psychic or particularly intuitive–nor even do you need to believe in such things–to recognize when someone has that special quality, that “it” factor, that “je ne sais quoi.”

You do not have to know someone intimately, or even spend any length of time with them at all, to know whether someone is successful.

No, anyone from anywhere can look at a total weirder and know it instantly–as I did with the three men in suits.

Why?

Because successful people carry with them certain magnetic qualities–things like vision, certainty, focus, and purpose. Qualities that your subconscious picks up on, even if you don’t consciously realize it.

THE LESSON

You really can have what you want, but to have it, you, too, must carry with you your own aura of success.

Unfortunately, most people reckon this is something you’re born with–”you either have it or you don’t,” as the saying goes. They talk themselves into staying small and content with small, because, they believe, they just don’t have what what it takes.

But here’s the truth. You can be, do, and have anything you want. You really can. But you must be willing to do what it takes to develop the qualities of successful people.

One of my favorite mentors is Dani Johnson, who in just two years worked her way up from being homeless to being a millionaire when she was only 23 years ancient. Dani says, “Until it becomes a part of you, sometimes you just have to place it on like a pair of pants.”

One of the things she did when rising to the top was watch videotapes of successful people. She says, “I would spend an hour a day and watch them with the sound turned off just so I could see how these people carried themselves–what their mannerisms were like, how they dressed, how they did their hair and makeup.” Then she would watch it again and listen not only to what they were saying, but how they were saying it–what words they used and the inflection in their voice.

Using these techniques, Dani developed a successful aura of her own, and today people often don’t believe her when she tells them she grew up abused and on welfare, and was once homeless, living on a beach, and doing drugs to escape the horrors of her life.

TAKE ACTION

Are you frustrated with the results you are getting in some area of your life? Take action!

Today’s action step: Reckon of someone you know who is successful at something you want to be successful at (or even better–have lunch with them!). Pay attention to something they do that indicates they are successful. Maybe it’s the way they sit or stand. Maybe it’s the way they look people in the eye when they’re talking to them. Maybe it’s the way they smile or encourage others through their conversation.

Find one thing and start emulating just that one thing.

Then see how many people notice you at the diner!

With the vast evolution in fashions over the previous decades, we every so often forget that transformations have been evenly as fundamental in the way we dress up our small ones, particularly when we observe baby boy clothing. The comparable changes between the society’s attitude towards babyhood and the increase of diverse designs of baby clothes is in the beginning shocking but then relatively logical.

When we glimpse back at earlier centuries, we can see that early days was small: for instance, even as delayed as the eighteenth century, children from the poorest families were required to work sometimes from the age of five and beyond. Garments for kids then were merely a smaller edition of adult clothes.

At that point in time childhood was not seen as a chance for play as part of normal growth and so there was no necessity to permit for this in designing children’s clothes. The approach was that children were just getting prepared to turn into adults and consequently, clothes were off-putting.

During the olden days newborn babies were firmly swaddled – this was to limit movement and ascertain proper posture. Swaddling would last during the first twelve months and was the only clothes a baby required. These days, tremendous swaddling is no longer practiced in the Western society but is still present in a few Eastern cultures.

But, by the end of the 18th century the use of lengthy gowns to fit out both baby girls and baby boys had turn into ordinary. One early advantage was that they aid to stay baby’s feet warm since they were extremely long, but as the kid started to pace the length of the gown stopped up at the ankles.

The moment they grew up to become toddlers, both boys and girls were dressed in replica of Mom’s dress. During the European Middle Ages, the partiality of garment colors had been mostly dark hues so that filth and stains were not as conspicuous when clothing were washed not as frequently as we do nowadays. The rich were able to pay for more colorful and intricate clothes which signify their status.

By the end of World War I, baby boy clothing had taken a fundamentally new course mainly due to a new category of clothing, the romper suit. It was believed to be developed first in France and altered societal custom. A retreat from dressing up both boys and girls in the identical kind of clothing had started by the end of the 19th century but romper suits practically got rid of the fashion.

Romper suits are still present these days though not as trendy for baby boys. It seems that in a few ways baby boy clothes have gone back to the olden times in that several are now just lesser replicas of adult clothes (polo shirts, jeans, camouflage pants), although much more multi-colored.

Luckily though, our thought about babyhood has not reverted in that we now comprehend the significance of play in a child’s growth.
